Access the Activity Check SpreadsheetActivity for Erku is 10 network comments or 5 log comments. Mixing and matching up to two threads is acceptable. Newly accepted characters need only post a check-in for the month they are accepted. A hiatus needs to be at least two weeks long to warrant an AC exemption, and two hiatuses cannot be used back-to-back to avoid AC. If you'd like to take a strike for the month, that is acceptable. You cannot take a strike two months in a row. Can I use a thread that started last month for AC this month? - As long as the thread hasn't been used for AC before, if the timestamps match the current month, the thread is acceptable. Please access the spreadsheet using the link above, and post your proof of activity or activity status (check in, hiatus, strike) per the instructions on the first sheet of the document. Applications are currently OPEN. Rolling applications are always open! New TDMs, which are open to both current and prospective players, are posted on or around the 18th of every month. We no longer take reserves. Please respond to this entry with CANON: CHARACTER NAME in the header and post your application in the comment box. Please do not link to your application. We do not list applications received. Please double-check your application (comments are screened) to be sure it posted, and feel free to poke the mod account if you feel your app was missed or overlooked! Player Info: Name: Your alias. Given that this is a kink/18+ game, you may app with a sock, provided all of your accounts remain under that same sock. If we find you trying to hide under multiple identities, it's an immediate ban. Over 18?: Contact: Characters Currently In Game: Character Info Name: Western order preferred. Canon: Canon Point: We prefer a "cooling off" period of at least 30 days for new canons or recent canon events to avoid spoilers! Age: Characters must be fifteen years of age or older. Exceptions will be made on a case-by-case basis where applicable. Background: This can be in the form of a wiki(a) link or written out. If the wiki link is found to be insufficient, we may request further details. CRAU also goes here! Note that CRAU powers or abilities that rely on the technology or magic from another game are not transferrable to Erku (e.g.: moon phases from Prismatica, gembonds from Noctium, etc). Personality: Describe your character's personality traits and motivations, citing your character's canon if necessary. While there is no word length requirement, around 700 words is ideal. Be sure that the personality described is adequately reflected in your samples! Powers: Please list all canon powers, as well as if and how they will be nerfed for the setting. Inventory: You may choose up to six items. Pets and vehicles of any size are allowed and take up one slot. These items are not chosen ICly. Samples: Up to two threads totaling AC length (5 action or 10 network comments from you) from within the past year. You can choose to write a paragraph or two of narrative if you prefer. Augur ShopSimulation ShopCOMPLETING AN ACT: What does this mean? A square is "checked off" when a thread reaches its thematic focus. For instance, the moment a character is blindfolded. Additionally, players can choose to submit threads-in-progress for small reward, or completed threads for larger rewards. These thread submissions will be separate from bingo card submissions. Good things happen to those who smang. You can request items from home, changes to the world, or other mysterious things. What counts as a smut thread? Any thread where eroticism is the focus. There doesn't have to be penetration or orgasm. A striptease? Sure. Sexting? That's fine, too. The criteria here is very lenient, because the intent is to get characters intimate in any way the players are comfortable making it happen. When is a thread "complete"? When a thread reaches a point of natural conclusion. A few comments could still happen after or players may fade to done, but when the story (and kinks) in a thread has concluded, it counts as completed. Explain this "karmic reward" stuff. Karma can go towards individual rewards or community rewards. You can trade a karmic reward for "finding a house with a roof" or "finding a motorcycle with a tank of gas," or you can pool rewards to "renovate the community center so characters have a place to congregate." TYPES OF BINGOS AND MULTI-KINKS What types of bingo can we submit?
What is a multi-kink thread? You can also acquire something unique for a multi-kink bingo thread. A multi-kink is when you cross off a specific arrangement of kinks from your card in a Single Thread (however, only one of those kinks can be permanently checked off on your A5 card).
Are Bingos and Multi-kink threads the same? No, a Bingo involves Five squares fulfilled by Five threads. A Multi-Kink thread is four or five kinks on your card in ONE single thread. When making a request, please be sure that you are following the guidelines for the right type of reward. REWARDS: So, what do I get? I'm glad you asked! These are only examples. You can request the specific reward and a mod will approve or tweak it based on this sliding scale. An in-progress thread may include a week's worth of non-aphro food rations, a small appliance, or the luck of scavenging a new outfit. You could also get paper or a small amount of hygiene supplies. A completed thread might be a vehicle or mecha (without fuel), a pet, or the return of a type of plant or animal to the world, or a private safe haven. A weapon request requires a completed thread, but will be limited. For more advanced weapons or a large amount of ammunition, a multi-kink bingo thread may be requested. A bingo reward might be that robots finish constructing a building to make it free for public use, taking a prominent role in a gamewide plot, or the development of new or existing powers. A full bingo or multi-kink bingo would be sufficient for asking for large scale personal safe havens such as a mansion. A multi-kink thread is worth more than a completed thread. A player used a multi-kink thread to request a day of sunlight for the game. Another player did the same for our brief winter season! Personal power upgrades and new special abilities also fall under multi-kink bingo. Here are some more setting-specific options.. A general scale to remember is that incomplete threads are tiny rewards (food, paper, hygiene items). Complete squares are bigger rewards but limited ones (such as one animal returning, or vehicle or mecha with no fuel or weapons, a few new books in the library). Multi-kink bingo threads are larger rewards (a mansion, large businesses, or effecting the weather) or a few smaller rewards in one. A complete bingo is a larger scale reward for yourself or to influence the entire game (such as the amusement park). Also please remember that requesting magical artifacts for a character who does not have magic may be considered a power upgrade and require a multi-kink bingo thread (depending on the power of the item being requested). There is no limit to what can be requested within reason, but within reason is the focus here. What about requesting a Business? In regards to businesses/locations requests, the Augur assumes it will do the work for these businesses with its robots unless you request otherwise. If you would like your character to run the business themselves, feel free to ask! A small business is one complete square. If you would like to request a personal business for your character then the requirements are as follows: 1 completed square is enough to have a building set aside, cleaned up and get basic supplies for a business if the character plans to do the rest of the work themselves to get ready for opening. 1 multi-kink bingo thread would be enough to get everything done by robot helpers (similar to using a multi-kink bingo thread to request a large house or laboratory). If it is a very large and extensive establishment, then a full bingo or two multi-kink threads may be requested. You would still need squares for continued supplies as time goes on for either option. Businesses with robot helpers may be used as a setting for events. Due to our varying schedules, we won't be able to accommodate requests to give business owners a "head's up" about upcoming events.
