Canon Update

Player: Ashen
Canon: Critical Role
Character: Caduceus Clay
Respawn date: 5th September 2021

New canon point: "Fond Farewells" Episode 141 Part 1
Summary of changes:
Game-wise: Along with the rest of the Mighty Nein, Caduceus has leveled up to become a level 16 Grave Cleric and can now use 8th level spells.

Personality-wise: All in all, Caduceus remains true to who he was and is. However, he is far more worldly-wise and traveled, his world literally became 100% larger. He's been all over the map of Wildmount and even to the Fire Plane and the Astral Sea. Due to having been everywhere, he's also seen far more conflict than he cares for, as well as bad actions and decisions made by The Mighty Nein, heck he's had to lie, albite badly. People have died, wars won and rulers overturned. Shit, he's even been a Pirate and an outlaw, some things he's morally against and that's a far step from the humble tea-drinking caretaker of graves. The pressure of constantly having to bring people back to life or heal during battles got harder and harder as he would rather not fight if possible. He's met some horrific people, and spoken up for others with brutal truthful words, hurtful things, such as when confronting Trent Ikithon;

" May I say before you go, I think perhaps you are one of the most powerful mages that I've ever had the pleasure to be in the presence of. And for this, I would offer a gift. I think it has been a long time since anyone has pointed out to you that you are a fool. Pain doesn't make people; it's love that makes people. The pain is inconsequential; it's love that saves them. And you would know that, but you have none around you. You said so yourself, you surround yourself with lies and deceptions. And I wish for you in the future to find someone who will mourn you when you are gone. Respectfully.

Though it's not all bad and terrible! He helped mentor Fjord and watch him grow into a wonderful Palidan of Melora, definitely a high light for their adventure. He's seen his friends all grow in more ways than one as they found love among themselves and grew as people individually. Upon being reunited with his family after defeating Lucian, he discovered a reinforced love for his biological family, never wanting them to be in danger ever again. One of the most important things is that it has been shown and proven without a doubt, that he is in fact truly loved by his Goddess, as upon calling for her help, Caduceus managed to gain the attention and aid of Melor the Wildmother on more than one occasion.

Caduceus will be returning to the Island right after ordering Eadwulf to grab a bucket of water and help put out the fires he started at the Blooming Grove Temple, so he'll be a little grumpy and stressed out I'm afraid.
