Augur Shop Simulation Shop COMPLETING AN ACT: What does this mean? A square is "checked off" when a thread reaches its thematic focus. For instance, the moment a character is blindfolded. Additionally, players can choose to submit threads-in-progress for small reward, or completed threads for larger rewards. These thread submissions will be separate from bingo card submissions. Good things happen to those who smang. You can request items from home, changes to the world, or other mysterious things. What counts as a smut thread? Any thread where eroticism is the focus. There doesn't have to be penetration or orgasm. A striptease? Sure. Sexting? That's fine, too. The criteria here is very lenient, because the intent is to get characters intimate in any way the players are comfortable making it happen. When is a thread "complete"? When a thread reaches a point of natural conclusion. A few comments could still happen after or players may fade to done, but when the story (and kinks) in a thread has concluded, it counts as completed. Explain this "karmic reward" stuff. Karma can go towards individual rewards or community rewards. You can trade a karmic reward for "finding a house with a roof" or "finding a motorcycle with a tank of gas," or you can pool rewards to "renovate the community center so characters have a place to congregate." TYPES OF BINGOS AND MULTI-KINKS What types of bingo can we submit? Row - Any five kinks going across Line - Any five kinks going down Diagonal - Any five kinks going from a top corner to the opposite bottom corner X - Two opposing diagonals crossing in the center Plus Sign - The middle horizontal and the middle vertical line crossing in the center Border - All kinks on the outside of the card are completed What is a multi-kink thread? You can also acquire something unique for a multi-kink bingo thread. A multi-kink is when you cross off a specific arrangement of kinks from your card in a Single Thread (however, only one of those kinks can be permanently checked off on your A5 card). Postage Stamp - Any 2x2 box of kinks (4 kinks) in one thread Row/Line - A horizontal or vertical combination of 5 kinks in one thread X - Two opposing diagonals' worth of kinks in one thread Plus Sign - One horizontal and one vertical set of kinks in one thread Are Bingos and Multi-kink threads the same? No, a Bingo involves Five squares fulfilled by Five threads. A Multi-Kink thread is four or five kinks on your card in ONE single thread. When making a request, please be sure that you are following the guidelines for the right type of reward. REWARDS: So, what do I get? I'm glad you asked! These are only examples. You can request the specific reward and a mod will approve or tweak it based on this sliding scale. An in-progress thread may include a week's worth of non-aphro food rations, a small appliance, or the luck of scavenging a new outfit. You could also get paper or a small amount of hygiene supplies. A completed thread might be a vehicle or mecha (without fuel), a pet, or the return of a type of plant or animal to the world, or a private safe haven. A weapon request requires a completed thread, but will be limited. For more advanced weapons or a large amount of ammunition, a multi-kink bingo thread may be requested. A bingo reward might be that robots finish constructing a building to make it free for public use, taking a prominent role in a gamewide plot, or the development of new or existing powers. A full bingo or multi-kink bingo would be sufficient for asking for large scale personal safe havens such as a mansion. A multi-kink thread is worth more than a completed thread. A player used a multi-kink thread to request a day of sunlight for the game. Another player did the same for our brief winter season! Personal power upgrades and new special abilities also fall under multi-kink bingo. Here are some more setting-specific options.. A general scale to remember is that incomplete threads are tiny rewards (food, paper, hygiene items). Complete squares are bigger rewards but limited ones (such as one animal returning, or vehicle or mecha with no fuel or weapons, a few new books in the library). Multi-kink bingo threads are larger rewards (a mansion, large businesses, or effecting the weather) or a few smaller rewards in one. A complete bingo is a larger scale reward for yourself or to influence the entire game (such as the amusement park). Also please remember that requesting magical artifacts for a character who does not have magic may be considered a power upgrade and require a multi-kink bingo thread (depending on the power of the item being requested). There is no limit to what can be requested within reason, but within reason is the focus here. What about requesting a Business? In regards to businesses/locations requests, the Augur assumes it will do the work for these businesses with its robots unless you request otherwise. If you would like your character to run the business themselves, feel free to ask! A small business is one complete square. If you would like to request a personal business for your character then the requirements are as follows: 1 completed square is enough to have a building set aside, cleaned up and get basic supplies for a business if the character plans to do the rest of the work themselves to get ready for opening. 1 multi-kink bingo thread would be enough to get everything done by robot helpers (similar to using a multi-kink bingo thread to request a large house or laboratory). If it is a very large and extensive establishment, then a full bingo or two multi-kink threads may be requested. You would still need squares for continued supplies as time goes on for either option. Businesses with robot helpers may be used as a setting for events. Due to our varying schedules, we won't be able to accommodate requests to give business owners a "head's up" about upcoming events. 1. Approved! They have enough that would last for a few weeks if used moderately.

2. This request has been approved! If performed while completing an unused auspicious act square (it cannot be an act they have already checked off), they will see that the energy has an electrical quality to it. The more Acts they are completing during the spell, the stronger the field of energy around them will become. It will not be unlike how a plasma ball looks and reacts.

They will notice that the energy is absorbed into the area around them. If they perform this indoors, it is absorbed into the walls and floor and will even go out the window. If they perform the spell outdoors, it will be absorbed into the trees, plants, and other surroundings. Some streaks of the energy will shoot off into the distance, but if they tried to follow it they would not be able to see exactly where it goes.

But performing a spell of this measure does have its own consequences. They will feel the energy on their skin, everything becoming more sensitive to the touch, more aroused. The spell will feed off the energy around them just as the world itself does and they will be permanently affected by it. Areas of their bodies will become instant erogenous zones. A shoulder, a hand, the center of their back, somewhere usually innocuous. When these areas of their skin are touched by another person physically or with the help of an object (clothing does not count in this regard), they will feel immediately aroused and in need of releasing the quick build up of sexual energy in some way.

A couple of clarifying questions:

Everyone actively involved in casting the spell will suffer the consequence?

Adjacently, the way we had initially been talking about setting up the thread, the three wizards were going to be noodling around with magic while they had two others doing an Auspicious Act in the next room as a kind of energy-generating engine. Would this work? Or would it just maybe give them a clue that they would have to be the ones creating the energy in order to properly detect it?

As for the energy, will it absorb into the buildings and landscape instantaneously, or would it take a moment or two to soak in? And in the context of a detect magic spell, would Auspicious energy map to any of the schools of magic or be something entirely different?

And is there a difference in how much energy soaks into what, ie more into ruined buildings vs whole buildings?

1. Yes. Everyone involved will have the same consequence.

2. They would realize they have to be in the same room while this is happening as they can't tap into the energy to see it, if they are not in the room with them. The one performing the spell does not have to be the one committing the act, they just have to be in the same room, but those performing the act will see the energy stronger and more easily than those observing. All of them would still be under the influence of the spell and the consequences of it.

3. Energy has trouble absorbing into the run down buildings and may go around them or right through them to be absorbed into something else nearby. Only a little is directly absorbed into the dilapidated and abandoned buildings of the city. It absorbs most easily into repaired buildings and natural scenery, such as plants and trees, as if they are sponges for it.

4. The energy will be something unlike any magic signature known to any character in the game, besides a vague similarity to electricity.

Using this completed multikink thread (it hits mirrors/multiple orgasms/oral/sensation on the upper right of her card) for some improvements to the building Edelgard and her friends live in.

- An adjoining training ground with both indoor and outdoor space, dummies and targets, a supply of training weapons. I'd love for it to have a room or two for some kind of holodeck-style combat simulations. So others can enjoy the training ground without necessarily feeling invited into the residence itself, I'd like for the indoor section to have three possible entrances - one exterior door, one door (lockable) that opens to the common area of Edelgard's building, and one (also lockable) that leads to....

- A short passage that ends in a door at the back of her bedroom closet.

- A small kitchen/living room addition to her quarters. (Sort of like this?)

The aphro effect is not a definite (it would be up to players if it affects them), but it can be limited without a square. It will only go into effect if the flour is used to make a baguette.

turning in this completed thread (cuddling) for shaun gilmore (gloriouslygood) to receive his first level spells back. not the high level fancy ones, just... you know, some of the more basic ones he lost when he came to the island. if it's not possible to gift rewards, i'll switch this to something else, but a half elf has complicated feelings and he has to try.

Approved, but Shaun Gilmore will find his spells not as effective and will tire him out more than if he had done the regain himself. To fix this, he will still need to do his own Augur request, or take part in an auspicious act right before or during the casting the spell(s) every time.

Also, just a question for the mods if Shaun wanted to open a magical item shop similar to what he had back in Emon, could he sell magical things that would say conjure non-aphro laced food or other things that would bypass some of the island's effects?
